About the role#
As a Student Worker, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the department. You will assist with special projects and day-to-day operations under the direction of department leadership, ensuring compliance with all standard operating policies and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and handling customer requests.
- Prepare presentations for company leadership.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with team members.
- Analyze department issues, recommend solutions, and assist with special projects and reports.
- Perform additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a health-related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working with integrated HRIS or payroll systems (Ceridian experience is preferred).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and maintain attention to detail.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
