About the role#
This Student Worker position provides administrative support to the department under the direction of the department leader. You will assist with clerical functions and special projects to help the team meet operational goals.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and handling customer requests.
- Prepare presentations for company leaders.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiency and collaborate with team members.
- Assist with the analysis and resolution of department issues, providing recommendations where appropriate.
- Support staff with special projects and reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with a major in Communications, Business Administration, or a health-related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with integrated HRIS or payroll systems, with a preference for Ceridian experience.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
- Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
