About the role#
This internship offers a 10-week, full-time experience within the Verizon Finance organization. You will work on live projects that directly support business operations. The program provides broad exposure to an AI-first ecosystem and includes collaboration with mentors across various business units. Interns also participate in the Intern Marquee event held in Basking Ridge, NJ.
What you'll do#
- Develop an expense agent dashboard to standardize data viewing through AI-driven automation.
- Build a bottom-up energy rates forecasting tool using AI.
- Create credit-driven growth initiatives to improve speed and precision through data ecosystems.
- Collaborate with mentors and participate in company-wide networking events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, AI, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028 with good academic standing.
- Ability to work full-time from June 2027 to August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.
- Experience with advanced predictive analytics, data architecture, and AI frameworks like LangChain, AutoGPT, Google Gemini, or NotebookLM.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional projects and a track record of rapid skill acquisition.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary.
Location & details#
- Location: Lake Mary, Florida.
- Modality: Hybrid (requires a minimum of three days per week in the office as determined by your manager).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Compensation: Paid position, including eligibility for a 401(k) savings plan with company match and holiday pay.
