About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work on live projects within the Verizon Finance organization. You will gain exposure to our AI-first ecosystem while collaborating with mentors across various business units. This is a full-time, 10-week summer program designed for students who are preparing for their final year of undergraduate studies.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to real-time projects that provide immediate impact to the business.
- Develop an expense agent dashboard using automation and AI tools to standardize data viewing.
- Build a detailed energy rates forecasting tool using code and AI resources.
- Work on credit-driven growth initiatives to improve speed and precision across data systems.
- Participate in the Intern Marquee event in Basking Ridge, NJ, for networking and professional development with company leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Good academic standing.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks between June 2027 and August 2027.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel and relocate if required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with predictive analytics, data architecture, and AI frameworks like LangChain, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
- Academic background in Accounting, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Ability to drive cross-functional projects and demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative.
Location & details#
- Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office as determined by your manager.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Eligibility for the 401(k) Savings Plan with company match and holiday pay.
