About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience working with our Information Security team. You will assist with daily security operations, documentation, and audit preparation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in El Segundo, California, running between January and May 2027.
What you'll do#
- Review daily security alerts, document findings, and track actions taken.
- Configure and improve security tools, including Zscaler and CrowdStrike.
- Maintain accurate security event logs and organize samples for auditing.
- Monitor and file reports received from external security partners.
- Manage a dedicated project from start to finish, such as an incident response guide or a logging audit report.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in reading logs and working with data in spreadsheets.
- Knowledge of basic scripting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
