About the role#
The Fixed Income ETF team manages bond funds that track various indexes, including high yield, investment grade, emerging markets, and municipals. As an intern, you will work directly with this group in New York to support portfolio management, credit analysis, and liquidity management. The program lasts 10 weeks, running from June 7 to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Monitor global fixed income markets, index performance, and fund performance.
- Analyze factors affecting fund performance, such as turnover, sampling risk, tax events, and liquidity.
- Assist in building reporting tools for trade analysis, tracking error, and compliance.
What you'll need#
- Currently entering your junior year or beyond in a 4-year degree program.
- Academic focus in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- An interest in fixed income, securities analysis, or public and corporate finance.
- Strong communication skills and a persistent work ethic.
- Working knowledge of Excel and familiarity with Bloomberg are helpful.
- Some prior experience in a corporate environment is preferred.
