About the role#
Valence Surface Technologies is seeking an intern to support laboratory operations within the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing industry. This role provides hands-on experience in a regulated industrial environment while contributing to laboratory and workforce development goals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with laboratory-related activities.
- Support lab operations, compliance, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or graduation from a relevant degree program in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or Environmental Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

- Compensation: Paid position ($21.30 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience).
