About the role#
This Nurse Extern position offers nursing students a chance to gain clinical experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support patient care and administrative tasks. This is an 8-week program running from June 14, 2027, to August 7, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient care and administrative support functions under the supervision of an RN.
- Assist patients with personal care to support their recovery.
- Carry out basic nursing skills as delegated by an RN.
- Help maintain a safe environment and ensure the safe delivery of care.
- Keep your skills and competencies current throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- You must be a nursing student entering your last year of school.
- Graduation date must fall between December 2027 and May 2028.
- BSN students must have completed their 3rd year.
- ASN students must have completed their 1st year.
Location & details#
- Location: Culpeper, Virginia.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, consisting of four 10-hour shifts.
- Compensation: $17.28 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
