About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship for nursing students. You will work in a Med/Tele unit, gaining hands-on experience by assisting registered nurses with daily operations and direct patient care. The program runs for 8 weeks, from June 14, 2027, to August 7, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform patient care and administrative support tasks under the direct supervision of an RN.
- Assist patients with personal care to support their recovery.
- Carry out basic nursing skills as delegated by your supervisor.
- Maintain a safe environment and follow established care delivery protocols.
- Keep your clinical skills and competencies up to date.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a nursing program with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- BSN students who have finished their third year or ASN students who have finished their first year.
- Ability to work 36 to 40 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
Location & details#
- Location: Culpeper, Virginia.
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. with rotating weekends.
- Compensation: $17.28 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
