About the role#
The High Tech Bound Broadband Internship is a paid four to six-week summer program at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory. This program is designed for students entering their senior year of high school to gain hands-on experience in software development and hardware projects. Interns work in a computer lab setting with mentors to solve technical problems and contribute to projects that utilize current industry technologies.
What you'll do#
- Complete an assigned project as part of a team.
- Develop technical skills through hands-on work with software and hardware technologies.
- Research solutions and contribute to projects used in areas such as internet devices and smart cars.
- Engage in problem solving using new technologies.
- Prepare for future education in the technology field.
- Earn 0.5 high school credit through the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School.
What you'll need#
- Must be entering your senior year of high school.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

- Compensation: $11.50 per hour.
