About the role#
As a Technical Sales Intern for the Food and Beverage market, you will gain hands-on experience at industrial food and animal processing facilities. This role provides a realistic preview of a career in technical sales, allowing you to own a specific customer project with tangible deliverables. You will be paired with a mentor who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Improve the safety, plant hygiene, and operations of industrial food and beverage customers.
- Apply academic theories to real-world commercial projects.
- Develop technical acumen, project management, and communication skills.
- Collaborate with team members to manage multiple tasks.
- Present your project findings to senior leadership at the Intern Symposium.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to various audiences.
- Authorization to work in the country of placement.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for use during the summer, as the role involves travel to industrial locations.
