About the role#
As a Technical Sales Intern in industrial water treatment, you will work on commercial projects at power, chemical manufacturing, and petroleum refinery facilities. This internship provides a hands-on look at a career in technical sales while allowing you to own a project and build industry knowledge.
What you'll do#
- Work on a specific customer project with tangible deliverables to show how our solutions meet their needs.
- Apply methods and theories learned in your coursework to solve real-world problems with a focus on sustainability and cost performance.
- Pair with a mentor who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the summer.
- Collaborate with a team and manage multiple tasks to support customer goals.
- Network with professionals in the field.
- Present your project findings to senior leadership at the Intern Symposium.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for use during the internship.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.

- This is a full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Wilmington, Delaware.
- This position is paid and includes a housing stipend for eligible interns.
