About the role#
The School of Global Health Management and Informatics at UCF Downtown is hiring a Student Tech Support Specialist. This role supports the technology used by students in the program, including specialized academic applications and university systems. You will work on-site for 25 hours per week, with a preferred schedule of Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
What you'll do#
- Provide front-line and advanced technical support to students by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Diagnose and repair complex hardware and software problems using electronic and networking testing equipment.
- Perform Change Management, Request Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management functions within ServiceNow.
- Create knowledge base articles to document solutions, processes, and procedures.
- Educate clients on how to use equipment, software, and university systems.
- Support specific applications including SQL, Visio, Project, and TrueCode.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience providing technical support for computer hardware, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and identity and access management principles.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
