About the role#
This 12-week internship program offers students hands-on experience within the Human Resources department at United Wholesale Mortgage. You will work alongside industry leaders and fellow interns on projects that contribute to company operations. This is a full-time, paid position designed to provide practical insight into HR functions.
What you'll do#
- Talent Acquisition: Conduct phone screens, assist recruiters with full-cycle recruiting, and maintain records in the applicant tracking system.
- Payroll & People Analytics: Audit team member information in the HRIS platform, report metrics, track survey data, and manage internal policy inquiries.
- Benefits & Wellness: Learn administrative benefit processes including leaves, 401k, and compliance. Participate in wellness initiatives and help run sports leagues.
- Engagement: Coordinate team-building events and recognition programs. Manage the event calendar, implement engagement programs, and create communication materials.
What you'll need#
- Current junior or senior status, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2027 or 2028.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Openness to learning, willingness to be coached, and flexibility.
