About the role#
As an Information Systems Endpoint Tech Intern, you will support the technical infrastructure at United Regional Health Care System. You will work with the technical team to ensure that end-users have the hardware and devices they need to perform their jobs. This role involves managing daily technical tasks, maintaining inventory, and helping with help desk functions to keep our systems running.
What you'll do#
- Manage your daily workload using our work order system and project management applications.
- Install PC operating systems and perform release upgrades, including antivirus and software updates.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records in our database.
- Provide training to staff on PC and network use, printer operation, and information security guidelines.
- Assist the technical team in resolving network and PC problems.
- Help ensure our practices meet Joint Commission compliance standards.
- Perform other technical tasks as directed by management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Moderate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Analytical skills to prioritize tasks and manage projects.
- Ability to lift or move equipment weighing up to 40 lbs and move between facility locations.

- Location: Wichita Falls, Texas.
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
