About the role#
This year-round internship provides hands-on experience within the Tech Build Center. You will work in a secure configuration facility in West Omaha, supporting the hardware and infrastructure that keeps the organization running. This role involves direct interaction with peers and senior leadership while applying technical skills to high-value projects.
What you'll do#
- Manage the growth and restoration of production environments for critical business solutions.
- Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting for Windows clients.
- Handle the secure disposition of Windows client and server data before equipment reaches the end of its life cycle.
- Configure Cisco network equipment and camera systems using Python or similar scripting methods.
- Support Android devices, including network, operating system, and application management.
- Communicate with internal customer groups to define project requirements and deliver solutions that meet expectations.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to automate daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate coursework.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong technical problem-solving abilities.
- Basic skills in time, project, and priority management.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift or move equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
