About the role#
This is a year-round, paid internship focused on Human Resources Technology at Union Pacific Railroad. You will work in a hybrid environment where you contribute to HR projects and gain hands-on experience by collaborating with experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the development and testing of new HR technology features.
- Assist in the execution of HR technology projects and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the HR team to identify and solve challenges using analytical tools such as Tableau.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in math, computer science, business administration, operations management, business analytics, operations research, data science, or management information systems (MIS).
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Basic organization, prioritization, and time or project management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
- Willingness to ask questions to improve understanding.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
