About the role#
The Office of the President intern supports executive leadership with daily operations, ongoing projects, and process improvements. You will work alongside senior staff to gain exposure to nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and organizational strategy. This role includes specific responsibilities for the Tikkun Olam programming, where you will engage with Black and Jewish stakeholders to help plan and execute events.
What you'll do#
- Support the coordination of initiatives, events, and strategic projects led by the President’s Office.
- Conduct research and gather background information to draft briefing materials for the President’s meetings and public engagements.
- Assist with the logistics, scheduling, and communication tasks for Tikkun Olam programming.
- Manage a culminating project that synthesizes your contributions and present your findings to stakeholders.
- Draft memos and assist with general project management and advisement tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university in a relevant field.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
- Ability to work well with others and follow directions.
- Basic research and note-taking skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The program runs for the Fall 2026 term, ending December 18, 2026.
- You must be available to work on-site during core hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- You must be available for occasional evening and weekend events.
- This position is paid with a total stipend of $4,000 for the duration of the program.
