About the role#
This is a full-time internship within the Tax Accounting Alternative Investments team at UMB Bank. You will gain experience preparing tax workpapers, returns, and filings for our alternative investment fund clients. This role is available for Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Gather and track client tax documents.
- Create initial tax returns.
- Input tax data and prepare returns using Excel and UMB systems.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email.
- Distribute tax documents to client investors.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least two years of an undergraduate program in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Comfort working in a detailed and deadline-driven environment.
