About the role#
Turner Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator Co-Op or Intern for a Winter 2027 term in Vancouver. This full-time position provides hands-on experience in construction management through supervised work at active project sites or the Vancouver office. You will gain exposure to project lifecycles, financial management, safety protocols, and subcontractor relationships.
What you'll do#
- Support the project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
- Assist with project start-up activities, shop drawings, submittals, and RFI processing.
- Help prepare contract information, estimates for changes in work, and quantity take-offs.
- Attend site visits to observe and document field activities.
- Communicate with Architects, Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors as directed.
- Monitor contractor compliance with safety programs and assist with project close-out preparations.
- Maintain professional relationships and participate in required training and meetings.
- Comply with all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program, preferably in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- At least one year of completed education and a minimum age of 18.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team.
- Access to reliable transportation.

- Compensation: CA$21 to CA$25 per hour, based on experience and academic year.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday.
