About the role#
As an Engineering Technician Intern, you will join a project team to gain hands-on experience in new product development. You will work alongside engineering professionals to create electronic measurement instruments. This 12-week summer program is designed to help you apply your academic skills in a practical, professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Build, test, and troubleshoot prototype devices.
- Use oscilloscope probing techniques to analyze performance.
- Document test results, numerical data, and graphical findings.
- Use CAD software to support ongoing engineering projects.
- Interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Perform soldering tasks.
- Contribute to team discussions and project goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in an Electronic Technology or Robotics program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Comfort working in a lab environment.
- Strong organization skills and high attention to detail.
- A self-motivated attitude and a desire to learn.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Shoreview, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on qualifications.
