About the role#
The TruServices Sales Intern supports the TruServices Sales Department Management. This role involves managing CRM data, maintaining key figures, and handling file storage for sales leadership. You will also conduct market share research for the NAFTA region. This is a paid, on-site internship based in Farmington, Connecticut, running from January 2027 through August 2027. You are expected to work at least 24 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Research and provide leads to the After Sales Network using national and industry media channels.
- Support order processing for consumables and service agreements.
- Assist with the MyTRUMPF platform and Smart Services offerings.
- Help with marketing tasks such as creating flyers, developing promo ideas, and drafting social media posts.
- Support events including in-house distributor events and training for applications engineers.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the TruServices Director.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and clerical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or marketing is a plus.
