Engineering Internship

About the role#

This Engineering Internship at Trojan Battery Company offers an opportunity to learn the daily routines and procedures of the organization. Interns will gain an understanding of the company brand, customer base, and product goals while completing designated business-focused projects. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

What you'll do#

• Provide suggestions to management for improving internal processes and customer service.
• Learn and become proficient in internal software systems.
• Assist in creating performance reports, managing databases, and inputting records.
• Perform clerical duties including maintaining files, organizing documents, taking meeting notes, and preparing research materials.
• Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information.
• Manage mail deliveries, packages, and couriers.
• Research and gather documentation regarding the company's position in the industry.
• Shadow various office positions to gain experience across a variety of tasks.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited university or college program to receive credit; high school degree or equivalent required.
• Pursuing a major in Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner without supervision.
• An energetic approach to tackling new projects and ideas.
