About the role#
Trojan Battery Company is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team in Horsham, Pennsylvania. This role offers an opportunity to learn our daily routines and procedures while gaining insight into our brand, products, and customer goals. Interns will take on business-focused projects to research, propose solutions, and present their findings.
What you'll do#
- Provide suggestions to management to improve internal processes and customer service.
- Learn and become proficient with our internal software systems.
- Assist with the creation of performance reports.
- Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide company information.
- Perform clerical duties such as taking memos, maintaining files, and organizing documents.
- Manage databases and input data or records.
- Research and gather documentation regarding the company position in the industry.
- Shadow office staff and train in a variety of tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university or college program to receive credit.
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner without supervision.
- An energetic approach to new projects and ideas.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.
