About the role#
Trojan Battery Company is seeking a Logistics Intern to support transportation, supply chain, and international trade activities. Working directly with the Director of Logistics, you will gain hands-on experience in freight management, shipping documentation, and process improvement. This is a paid, remote internship requiring 25 hours per week with a flexible schedule during daytime business hours. The position lasts for 6 months.
What you'll do#
- Track domestic and international shipments and coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders.
- Review shipping documents for accuracy and maintain logistics records.
- Assist with freight reporting and transportation metrics using Excel.
- Support freight invoice review and resolve related issues.
- Assist with import and export documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
- Learn basic HTS classifications, Country of Origin, and trade compliance requirements.
- Support customs brokers and internal teams with documentation requests.
- Help update logistics procedures, work instructions, and assist with special process improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, or a related field.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Previous internship or logistics experience is a plus.

- Commitment: 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday during daytime business hours.
