About the role#
Sanhua International USA is hiring a Logistics Operations Intern to work on-site at our Gluckstadt, Mississippi facility. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience in warehouse and supply chain operations. You will work across receiving, shipping, and inventory control while learning to use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
What you'll do#
- Schedule inbound shipments and container arrivals.
- Verify packing lists against physical inventory and report discrepancies.
- Process materials in the WMS.
- Review customer orders and prepare shipping documentation like Bills of Lading.
- Generate shipping labels and coordinate with carriers for pickups.
- Support truck loading and maintain shipping records.
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
- Communicate with internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Assist with warehouse continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Willingness to learn warehouse and supply chain operations.
- Previous experience in logistics or warehouse settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or WMS platforms is preferred.
