About the role#
As a Biomedical Equipment Technician Intern at TRIMEDX, you will gain hands-on experience in a hospital environment. You will work alongside experienced clinical, biomedical, lab, and radiology engineers to learn the daily operations of the field. This role provides direct exposure to real-time service environments under the supervision of management.
What you'll do#
- Shadow experienced technicians to understand their daily responsibilities.
- Respond to service calls and learn to balance your workload.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and inventory validation.
- Document repairs and maintenance work orders.
- Train on equipment calibration, troubleshooting techniques, and electrical safety.
- Assist with vendor management and equipment repairs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associates or technical degree program, or equivalent military training in the biomedical field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screen.
- Prior experience with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment is preferred.

- This position is located in Wichita, Kansas. You must be local to this area to qualify.
- This is a part-time, on-site internship.
