About the role#
Trimble is hiring Geospatial Interns for a 12-month, full-time commitment. This program offers hands-on experience in the geomatics industry, bridging the gap between hardware and software. Candidates will be matched to specific teams, such as software testing or product management, based on their background and skills following the interview process.
What you'll do#
- Apply survey and GIS knowledge to guide product development and define user workflows.
- Execute exploratory testing and design test cases using professional equipment.
- Build and expand automation testing frameworks.
- Track, analyze, and report automated test results.
- Lead time-sensitive feature and enhancement projects.
- Partner with customer and beta user communities to gather product insights.
- Collaborate with product marketing and engineering teams to produce content.
- Develop and execute testing plans using GNSS, total stations, and laser scanners.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundational understanding of office and field survey workflows.
- Solid computer skills, including experience with test design, databases, Excel, and networking principles.
- Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.
- A collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Demonstrated organization and time management skills.
- Full-time availability for a 12-month commitment starting in May or June 2027.
