About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship for law students. You will gain hands-on experience working with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys and business partners. The program runs for ten to twelve weeks between June 2027 and August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research and prepare discovery documents.
- Draft legal briefs and motions.
- Observe legal proceedings in various courts.
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while receiving feedback on your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This position is located in Hartford, Connecticut, and Hamden, Connecticut.
- This is an on-site role requiring a 40-hour work week.
