About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at TransMarket Group, you will work alongside our junior and senior developers to learn the technical requirements of the automated trading business. You will contribute to the development, maintenance, and support of production-quality components used in our global proprietary trading systems. This role involves working within a focused team where you will gain hands-on experience with high-performance systems and C++ development.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the full lifecycle of software development for automated trading.
- Write, maintain, and support code for production systems.
- Build expertise in software principles and high-performance trading architecture.
- Collaborate across different internal teams, including technology, trading, business, and finance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor degree or higher in a technical or quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- A strong foundation in computing, math, probability, and statistics.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical topics.
- Linux scripting experience is a plus.
