About the role#
As a Quantitative Trader Intern, you will work alongside Junior and Senior Traders to gain hands-on experience in proprietary trading. This role focuses on understanding risk transfer and price discovery within global financial markets. You will participate in a structured environment that combines classroom-style education with practical research and trading floor involvement.
What you'll do#
- Develop expertise in relative value market fundamentals and risk management.
- Build and maintain quantitative model tools and analytics.
- Analyze real-time trades as they occur.
- Participate in formal internship classroom-style education programs and research projects.
- Assist Junior and Senior Traders with daily trading operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in Python programming with 1-2 years of experience.
- Completion of required math coursework: Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Multivariable Calculus, Probability, and Advanced Statistics.
- A minimum major GPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent.
- Demonstrated passion for markets, finance, and trading.
