About the role#
Trans-Matic Mfg. Co is looking for GVSU Engineering students to join our team for a co-op position. This role is for students who enjoy hands-on mechanical work. If you like taking things apart and putting them back together, this is a good fit for you. You will gain experience in a manufacturing environment while receiving training from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various tasks under supervision.
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures.
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Gain familiarity with engineering systems, software platforms, and procedures.

- Must be a current GVSU Engineering student.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- You are a self-starter who adapts well.
- A genuine interest in hands-on work and problem-solving.
