About the role#
This is an 11-week, full-time summer internship based at our Distribution Center in Maumelle, Arkansas. You will work alongside HR and Operations leaders to support programs that impact our team members. This role provides hands-on experience in areas such as team member relations, recruiting, onboarding, and safety.
What you'll do#
- Support the application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Partner with HR leaders to address team member questions and workplace matters.
- Analyze workforce data, exit interview feedback, and other HR metrics to identify trends.
- Assist with recruiting tasks including reviewing applications, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Collaborate with HR and Operations teams on safety initiatives and investigations.
- Coordinate training activities and support new hire orientation sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in an operational environment.
