About the role#
Tractor Supply Company is hiring for an 11-week, full-time Human Resources internship at our Distribution Center in Pendleton, Indiana. This program begins in May 2027 and offers hands-on experience in a warehouse environment. You will work alongside HR and Operations leaders to support programs that impact our team members. This is a paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Support the communication and consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices.
- Analyze workforce data, exit interview feedback, and other HR metrics to identify trends.
- Assist with recruiting tasks, including reviewing applications, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Coordinate and facilitate training and development sessions for team members.
- Partner with HR and Operations leaders on safety-related initiatives and investigations.
- Help with new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to organize tasks, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

- Requirement: You must be able to relocate to and reside in the Pendleton area for the duration of the internship.
