DOD Skillbridge Military Intern - Clubhouse Maintenance

About the role#

The DOD Skillbridge Military Intern for Clubhouse Maintenance ensures the TPC Las Vegas facility remains in excellent structural and physical condition. This role focuses on maintaining operational standards for the clubhouse and surrounding buildings, supporting the facility's reputation as a premier PGA TOUR property.

What you'll do#

• Perform and manage all repairs for the cart fleet, including keeping detailed maintenance records.
• Execute preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a written inventory of all tools and establish par stock levels for spare parts and supplies.
• Obtain bids for major repairs, maintenance contracts, and capital projects for management approval.
• Establish and enforce security guidelines, including training staff on alarm systems, fire safety, and lightning warning protocols.
• Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of the clubhouse, entrance, and parking lot at least four times daily.
• Manage key control, including quarterly inventories and logging.

What you'll need#

• Must be a transitioning service member.
• Two to three years of previous experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Thorough knowledge of building maintenance procedures.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, equipment maintenance, and chemical health and safety standards.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and kneeling.
