About the role#
Toro Group of Companies is seeking a Human Resources Intern for an 8-month or 1-year co-op term. This role provides hands-on experience across HR functions within the wholesale building materials industry. You will work on-site at our Concord office to support daily operations and long-term projects.
What you'll do#
- Organize employee engagement initiatives and events.
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases.
- Support HRIS maintenance by updating information and generating reports.
- Assist with posting job openings, searching for candidates, and screening resumes.
- Contribute to HR projects, including policy reviews and process improvements.
- Aid in daily HR administration and new hire onboarding.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary co-op program.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

- Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
