About the role#
The School Partnerships Intern plans and leads enrichment activities for elementary, middle, and high school students. This role supports programs located within public schools. You will work with academic partners to provide enrichment, lead group discussions, and plan workshops for families. Some sites focus on grant-funded programs to help youth graduate from high school and college.
What you'll do#
- Plan and lead group activities and participate in field trips.
- Lead weekly Charity for Change and Fit n Fun sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with students, families, and school leadership.
- Keep program spaces and equipment clean and in good order.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Record daily attendance using EZ Reports software.
- Serve as a substitute teacher when needed.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
What you'll need#
- An interest in working with elementary, middle, or high school students.
- Ability to plan and lead enrichment activities.
- Skill in building relationships with students, staff, and families.
- A commitment to mission-driven work.
- You must agree to follow The Code of Conduct with Youth.
