About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in entertainment journalism, digital video production, and social media strategy. You will work with the On The Red Carpet brand and the broader OTV content team to create media for linear, streaming, and social platforms. The program runs from January 2027 through early June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Produce, edit, and shoot content for On The Red Carpet digital and social channels.
- Research and assist with coverage for OTV special events.
- Develop creative concepts for linear, digital, and social media coverage.
- Write articles and publish video content to the OnTheRedCarpet website.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, preferably as a Junior or Senior.
- Major or coursework in Film and Television, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms for content creation.
- Experience filming with DSLR cameras and iPhones is preferred.
- Knowledge of journalism, news production, or script writing is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools like Microsoft CoPilot is an asset.
- You must be at least 18 years old and possess unrestricted work authorization.
- You must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position located on-site in Glendale, California.
- You must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- You are responsible for your own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
