About the role#
The University of Tulsa is hiring a Student MarCom to support our communications and marketing efforts. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We are looking for students majoring in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or Business Administration to join our team on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Create, schedule, and publish content for social media platforms.
- Monitor channels for engagement and respond to comments.
- Help the communications team run social media, email, and web campaigns.
- Track performance metrics for social media and email to suggest improvements.
- Attend university events to capture photos and video for marketing use.
- Edit and organize photos for brochures, websites, and social media.
- Maintain our digital photo library using standard naming conventions.
What you'll need#
- Experience creating and publishing content for social media.
- Ability to monitor channels and interact with audiences.
- Skill in analyzing campaign metrics.
- A pulse on current social media and web trends.
- Proficiency in editing and organizing photos for professional use.
