    About the role#

    The Indirect Sourcing Intern will support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost management projects at The Toro Company. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Bloomington, Minnesota, running from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Analyze procurement, supplier, and spend data to identify trends and provide recommendations.
    • Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost avoidance projects.
    • Assist with the preparation, distribution, and analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
    • Maintain supplier, pricing, and contract information within internal databases.
    • Conduct market research and gather supplier intelligence.
    • Collaborate with teams across Finance, IT, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing.
    • Participate in supplier evaluations, business reviews, and contract management tasks.
    • Identify process efficiencies and document best practices.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an educational program and pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or operations.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
    • Interest in interpreting data to develop business insights.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus.

    • Term: Summer 2027 (May 17 to August 6).
