About the role#
The ServiceNow Platform Team manages the administration, development, and modernization of our ServiceNow instance. We are currently focused on reducing technical debt, cleaning up legacy configurations, and aligning the platform with current best practices. As an intern, you will work with a team of architects, developers, and business analysts to improve the reliability and maintainability of the platform for users across the organization.
What you'll do#
You will contribute to projects that support platform health and user experience. Responsibilities include:
- Building dashboards and reports.
- Performing catalog health checks.
- Creating automated tests (ATF) for high-use applications and workflows.
- Developing automation through Flow Designer.
- Managing data quality and CMDB enrichment.
- Conducting QA testing and creating test case documentation.
- Updating system documentation and cleaning up the knowledge base.
- Creating training materials.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating in December 2027 or May/August 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
- A basic understanding of ITSM/ITIL concepts (incident, problem, change management).
- Exposure to JavaScript.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
- Ability to learn new software quickly and work effectively under supervision.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Term: Year-round internship (January 2027 through December 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid. Employees are expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday as anchor days.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
