About the role#
The Messina Group is hiring interns for the fall of 2026. This role reports to the Project Associate and involves working with various staff members in our Washington, DC office. Interns are paid and expected to work between 12 and 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Support daily office operations and administration.
- Track and distribute news clips for the office and clients.
- Assist staff with writing memos.
- Complete research projects.
- Handle other assigned tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are a current undergraduate student.
- You have an interest in politics and consulting.
- You are a self-starter who can exceed expectations with little direction.
- You are comfortable working in a rapid-response environment.
- Preferred majors include Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or Public Health.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Washington, DC.
- Interns work from our Dupont Circle office Monday through Thursday, with an option to work remotely on Friday.
- Schedules are built based on your availability between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm ET.
- The internship begins the week of August 17, 2026.
