The Messina Group is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 term to support our Washington, DC office. This position reports to the Project Associate and involves working closely with staff across the firm. This is a paid internship with a flexible schedule of 12-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm ET.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily office operations and administration.
- Track and manage the distribution of news clips for the office and clients.
- Support staff in drafting memos.
- Conduct research projects.
- Complete other assigned tasks and duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student status.
- Majors in Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or Public Health.
- Enthusiasm for learning about politics and consulting.
- Ability to work as a self-starter who exceeds expectations with minimal direction.
- Capacity to thrive in a rapid-response environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Washington, DC.
- Modality: On-site at our Dupont Circle office Monday through Thursday, with an option to work remotely on Friday.
- Term: Fall 2026, beginning the week of August 17, 2026.
