About the role#
The Messina Group is hiring interns for the fall of 2026. You will report to the Project Associate and work with staff in our Washington office. This is a paid, full-time opportunity. Schedules are built based on your availability between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday, for 12 to 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily office operations and administrative tasks.
- Track and distribute news clips for our team and clients.
- Draft memos to support staff projects.
- Conduct research as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are currently an undergraduate student.
- You have an interest in politics and consulting.
- You are a creative self-starter who works well with minimal direction.
- You learn new tasks quickly.
- Preferred majors include Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, History, or Sociology.
Location & details#
This internship is based in our Dupont Circle office in Washington, DC. You are required to be on-site Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. The program begins the week of September 14, 2026.
