About the role#
The Data Science & Analytics internship provides college students an opportunity to develop advanced skills while supporting strategic business objectives. You will work on a project aligned with areas such as e-commerce, merchandising, operations, or finance. This program runs for 11 weeks from May 17 to July 30, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform data analytics to address a variety of business problems and opportunities.
- Apply database applications and analytical tools, including Python, SQL, and Google Cloud BigQuery.
- Participate in meetings across the enterprise data science community.
- Communicate project findings and status through professional presentations.
- Provide recommendations and comprehensive reports to upper management.
- Build relationships and receive mentoring from team members and leaders.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering.
- Excellent academic performance with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Experience with a modern scripting language, preferably Python.
- Experience running data queries, preferably using SQL or Google BigQuery.
- Experience with data visualization software, preferably Tableau.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software.
- Exposure to statistics, predictive modeling, and other data science methodologies.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at the Store Support Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Interns are expected to work in the office Monday through Friday.
- Housing assistance is available for eligible interns.
