About the role#
DriveTime is seeking Data Analytics Interns for our Summer 2027 program. You will join a data-driven organization and support one of our specialized verticals, such as Credit Risk, Loan Servicing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Retail, or SilverRock Analytics. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in either Tempe, Arizona, or Dallas, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Conduct data analysis to generate insights from large data sets.
- Participate in all phases of the analytic lifecycle, including research design, data collection, processing, model building, deployment, and presentation.
- Brainstorm creative solutions to complex data challenges.
- Use data analysis to identify opportunities to improve customer experience and profitability.
- Complete ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or another STEM field.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Experience with data analysis and a working knowledge of SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on problem-solving.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to work in an agile environment.
Location & details#
- Locations: Tempe, AZ and Dallas, TX.
- Modality: On-site, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Program duration: 11 weeks, from May 2027 through August 2027.
