About the role#
The 2027 Summer Internship in Cybersecurity offers an 11-week program from May 17 to July 30, 2027. Interns work on projects that impact their assigned functional team while gaining technical and analytical experience in detecting security threats. You will focus on areas such as application and network security, cyber forensics, smart device security, or security analytics.
What you'll do#
- Deploy technologies to establish data privacy and security controls.
- Manage system and software vulnerabilities.
- Establish methods for securing connected or smart devices.
- Develop advanced cyber monitoring and security analytics solutions.
- Provide cyber forensics and incident response support.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Science or Business Administration in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Computer Engineering.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
- 0 to 1 years of relevant work experience.
- General knowledge of security fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of Internet fundamentals including DNS, TCP/IP, and HTTP.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- The role is primarily remote, though interns may be required to travel to the Atlanta, Georgia corporate office for up to 3 weeks during the program. Travel expenses are covered for eligible interns.
