Our Marine team is seeking exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which provides meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as rewarding career path options. This position is open to candidates in Worcester, MA, Houston, TX, and Charlotte, NC in a hybrid model (2x a week in office). IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: - Support various underwriting functions in partnership with assigned Underwriters, Technicians, and Associates - Assist with underwriting transactions, service standards, agency relationships, and compliance rules and documentation - Prepare and provide key data and follow up on outstanding issues - Perform line of business (LOB) analyses to evaluate accounts - Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY: - Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred - Ability to commit to a full time 10-week internship program - Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree or advanced degree program - Preferred majors: Risk Management and Insurance, Business - Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future - Marketing and sales orientation - Entrepreneurial minded and innovative - Ability to problem solve and leverage available resources - Service oriented with a high level of responsiveness - Communicates effectively with internal and external partners both verbally and in written communications.
