About the role#
The Corporate Strategy team at The Hanover Insurance Group develops and advances strategies to meet our long-term vision. We analyze industry trends, monitor the competitive environment, and provide business insights across the company. As an intern, you will join this team to perform research, contribute to project teams, and support the creation of presentations and white papers.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy team to develop strategic plans and execute special projects.
- Participate in team meetings and workshops.
- Research insurance industry trends and innovations using internal and public resources.
- Conduct financial and market analysis.
- Create presentations using PowerPoint.
- Learn strategy best practices and methodologies.
- Prepare and deliver a final presentation for management and leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an MBA, Masters, or Bachelors program with a focus on Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- 0-2 years of professional working experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Curiosity and a desire to learn.

- Location: Worcester, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027 (10-week full-time program).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
