About the role#
The Procurement Internship program offers practical work experience in sourcing and acquiring materials, products, and services for the business. You will join our Direct Sourcing, Indirect Sourcing, or Business Process teams to support global procurement objectives. This role provides exposure to various functional areas of the company and offers opportunities to interact with Goodyear leadership.
What you'll do#
- Review the market to identify potential suppliers.
- Interact with end-user stakeholders to define requirements.
- Work with suppliers to acquire necessary goods and services.
- Analyze data to prepare for negotiations.
- Update pricing and payment systems.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Expected graduation within 1 to 2 years of the internship start date.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail orientation with superior analysis and problem-solving skills.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship located on-site in Akron, Ohio.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
