About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in solid waste management. You will work in Green Bay during the summer of 2027. You will collaborate with experienced professionals on projects that have a direct environmental impact.
What you'll do#
- Conduct landfill construction observation.
- Participate in waste characterization studies.
- Assist with the design of landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities.
- Help with data analysis and regulatory reporting.
- Gain exposure to solid waste planning, including waste diversion and recycling.
- Support other project work as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Your degree program must be ABET-accredited.
