About the role#
This internship provides experience supporting IT systems and delivering services to users at Church headquarters and globally. You will work with teams of engineers, product managers, developers, and vendors to manage project timelines, resources, and budgets. This position involves working both independently and in group settings to support technology that serves the mission of the Church.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate across disciplines to build project plans, including resource requirements and budgets.
- Lead project timelines to ensure technology solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Handle pressures related to change requests and project scope.
- Develop management reports to communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Use influence skills to coordinate with team members.
- Work with technical tools to help develop enterprise solutions.
- Mentor with experienced IT professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an educational institution or within one year following graduation.
- Previous project management experience is preferred.
- Membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and possession of a current temple recommend.
