About the role#
Digital Asset Specialists support BYU-Pathway Worldwide by managing video content from global events, interviews, and trips. This role focuses on the organization and maintenance of large video libraries to ensure the production team can work efficiently. You will gain experience in digital asset management and project coordination within a professional marketing and communications team.
What you'll do#
- Transfer, label, and maintain video content across platforms like Nuxeo, SharePoint, and MediaValet.
- Manage a master spreadsheet to track project status, transcripts, captions, and editing progress.
- Organize and archive large video projects while keeping accurate records for future access.
- Handle large video files by downloading, uploading, and transferring content according to established production processes.
What you'll need#
- Membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and current temple worthiness.
- Residence in Utah or Idaho.
- Very fast, reliable high-speed internet for managing large video files.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Excel, and Google Sheets for tracking projects.
- Strong planning, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- A basic understanding of video production or digital media management.
- Preferred: Studies in Marketing, Business, Communications, Media Arts, or Project Management.
- Preferred: Familiarity with video production workflows or digital storage platforms like SharePoint and MediaValet.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or French.
Location & details#
- This is a remote, part-time position.
- Working hours are Monday through Friday, either 8:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
